Anthony Collins Solicitors will provide funding for the LPC fees to those who are joining us as trainees and currently or about to commence their LPC studies and the University of Law. If you are studying your LPC elsewhere, a commensurate level of funding will be available.
We focus our activity on specialist sectors where, importantly, we seek to influence debate, policy and practice at a national level. We’re always ahead of the important issues affecting our clients’ sectors, and are committed to making a difference, which explains why we work with such dedication and passion – whatever our position in the company.
Our work is centred around seven sectors. In each, we strive to achieve an extraordinary level of expertise and understanding, which allows us to think and act beyond the ordinary legal disciplines.
As a Lex 100 winner for job satisfaction, client contact, low stress levels, work/life balance and diversity we are a great choice if you’re looking to join an principled firm and want to take the lead on high quality work.
We are committed to helping you develop and succeed as a trainee, and we provide the support and resources to help you achieve your potential. You’ll be allocated an appraiser at the start of your training contract, as well as a trainee manager for each seat. Your appraiser will offer support and guidance about which areas would complement your plans for the future, making sure you gain the necessary experience and skills.
When we asked our trainees why they chose us over other firms, they told us it was because of our excellent client care and because we “have a social conscience and are actually prepared to do something about it”. They also said they were given more hands-on experience and considerably more responsibility than their peers at other firms.

The vacation scheme is the perfect opportunity to understand the work we do and meet the people who do it. You will spend two weeks with us, splitting your time between two departments. We will assign you a trainee as a buddy, and a fee earner as a mentor and assessor. During this time you will have had the opportunity to be involved in the work that we do and we will provide you with constructive feedback at the end of the two weeks. Our vacation scheme will run between 29 June to 10 July 2020. Applications opened on 4 November 2019 and will close on 6 March 2020. You will need to apply via our website. The selection criteria to apply is the same as our training contract. | |
