What Support is Available to Trainees?

To make sure you get the most out of this unique opportunity, trainees will have a number of different resources available during the training contract and throughout your career with Clifford Chance. These include courses taught by respected internal and external experts, as well as talks from clients to put your learning into context. Trainees are also given a personal budget to spend on courses and training to support IGNITE projects. So, you’ll have access to all the learning you need to keep both your tech and legal skills up to date and relevant. 

Trainees also have the support of peers and the wider team, with regular IGNITE socials, as well as access to IGNITE Champions – people in the firm who will actively support you through your training contract and IGNITE-related projects. 

Clifford Chance Academy – which develops innovative learning tools – is home to the firm’s Global Tech Academy, which provides online training, resources and a global programme of face-to-face workshops, so you can remain on top of the latest technology trends and issues.

Clifford Chance delivers its bespoke new Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) programme with the University of Law to get you ready for SQE1 and SQE2.
